Mike McCorkle is an author and freelancer based out of Seattle. He spent a year living in Mexico instructing English and now works as a writing mentor and private instructor in the south Puget Sound. When he is not writing, Mike can be found exploring the backwoods with his son Rylan and Labrador Betsy.
Currently Mike is engaged in several fiction and non-fiction projects. You can look for his story "The Sound" in issue #11 of Flyleaf Journal as well as their yearly anthology.
